A suggestive inquiry.
"..arrangements could be devised according to the tastes or views of those who like allegory or topical reference. But I cordially dislike allegory in all its manifestations, and always have done so since I grew old enough to detect its presence. I much prefer history, true or feigned, with its varied applicability to the thought and experience of readers. I think that many confuse "applicability" with "allegory"; but the one resides in the freedom of the reader, and the other in the purposed domination of the author"
--J.R.R. Tolkien
"Biluminosity removes the burden of choice and invites the reader to enter into a more empowering dimension... that embraces the quality of amphibians — beings capable of living equally well in two radically different environments. As a result, the reader is freed from the obsession to find the ‘right answer’ through speculation and instead can concentrate on enjoying nuances and being awed by how the slightest shift in perception creates a new meaning. Through biluminosity, the reader has the opportunity to develop the qualities of a graceful dancer. This is a powerful tool for adjusting effectively in a world that is unfolding through increasingly sharp contrasts.”
